Laura Jean Gray, 95, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in her home. Born June 9, 1929, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Donald J. and Laura D. (Thomas) Wood. She married H. Clinton Gray on July 10, 1970, in Rockford, IL. Retired from Borg Warner after 15 years of employment. Active member of Grace Lutheran Church. Laura enjoyed gardening and sewing. Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen (Ben Ignaszak) Wayman; grandson, Howard (Kimberly) Wayman; stepson, Larry (Carol) Gray; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Hoang and Bradley (Laura) Gray; numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and son, Dennis L. Mueller.
Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Grace Lutheran Church, 343 Grand Ave., Loves Park, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded. Inurnment at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
