Larry Heaslip

Larry W. Heaslip, 71, of South Beloit was called home Sunday, February 23, 2020. Born April 10, 1948, in Dyersburg, TN, the son of Raymond and Mardelle A. (Holt) Heaslip. Veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. Owned and operated Park Siding for more than 50 years. He loved spending time with family, landscaping, cooking and camping. Survivors include his children, Robert Heaslip of Excelsior, MN, Dawn (Bud) Brick of Roscoe, Michael Heaslip of Rockford and Tony Heaslip of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Shawn (Lindsay) Strong of Rockford, Stephanie Brick of Roscoe, Sebastian Heaslip of Rockford and Scott Brick of Roscoe; brother, William (Candy) Heaslip of Janesville, WI; sister, Sherry McClure of Boise, ID; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.

Service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2020, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Burial in Argyle Scottish Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 27, in the funeral home.
