Lanis "Larry" Swan

Lanis “Larry” R. Swan, 76, of Loves Park went home to be with his Lord Saturday, December 22, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born October 25, 1942, in Saint Louis, MO, the son of Ferdinand R. and Eugenia (Johnson) Swan. Employed by SwedishAmerican Hospital for many years, retiring in 2010. Member of Windsor Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling, lighthouses, dominoes, and talking politics. Avid Chicago White Sox fan. Survivors include his children, Sarah Littlejohn, Regena Swan, Timothy (fiancé Aiza Laya) Swan, Todd (Erica) McKee; grandson, Dakota and numerous other grand and great-grandchildren; loving companion, Elsie Keirn; former wives, Judy and Linda. Predeceased by daughter, Belinda Dumas; brother, Douglas Swan; sons-in-law, James M. Littlejohn and Scott Sterkeson.

Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, in Windsor Baptist Church, 1115 Windsor Road, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd.
