L. Jean Hirth

L. Jean Hirth, 75, of Rockford passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018, in her home. Born January 12, 1943, in Camden on Gauley, WV, the daughter of Vernon and Laura L. (McCourt) Addington. Married Donald L. Hirth on August 3, 1962, in Rockford. She was a self-employed beautician, starting her business in 1981, in the basement of her home. Former member of Open Bible Center and Faith Center. She loved to sew, read, shop, spend time with her friends, going to lunch with friends and just being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Andrea (Jeff) Bergman; son, Aaron (Stephanie) Hirth; grandchildren, Seth, Evan, Drue, Abigail, Parker and Katie; sister, Dora Lee Nyen; special sister, Rose Hampton; and beloved pet, PJ. Predeceased by her husband; brothers, Rodney and Roger Addington; and sister, Phyllis Rice.

Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 11, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation also from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, in the funeral home.
