Kimberly Swick

Kimberly A. Swick, 53, of Machesney Park passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016, in Swedish American Hospital with family by her side. Born January 25, 1963, in Hillsboro, WI, the daughter of Donald R. and Edith (Brooks) Kennedy. Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1981. Married Gregory S. Swick on December 27, 1990, in Rockford. Employed by the Harlem School District. Member of Rockford First. She loved spending time with family, especially her mom and granddaughter. Kimberly enjoyed playing bingo and camping. Survivors include her husband, Greg; daughter, Heather Swick; granddaughter, Angel Swick; mother, Edith Kennedy; brother, Donald L. (Kathy) Kennedy; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, David, Brenda and Valerie. Predeceased by her father; grandparents, Joseph and Iva Kennedy; and aunt, Linda Kennedy-Young. The family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Swedish American Heart Hospital.
