Kevin Hanneman, Jr.

Kevin L. Hanneman, Jr., 30, of Machesney Park, lost his battle with addiction on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Born November 26, 1986, in Rockford, the son of Kevin L. and Kimberly (Friend) Hanneman, Sr.   Attended Harlem High School.  Kevin was a loving father, son and brother.  He had McGyver-like talent and loved skateboarding.  Survivors include sons, Kaleb and Mitchell; father, Kevin; mother, Kim Friend; paternal grandmother, Crystal Hanneman; maternal grandfather, Richard Friend; siblings, Morgan Northrup, Cornelius and Sara Hanneman; nephews, Bradlee and one on the way.  Predeceased by paternal grandfather, Lawrence Hanneman; maternal grandmother, Sara Friend; and cousin, Jason Hanneman.

Memorial service at 4 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 2 p.m. to service time.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
