Kathryn "Kathy" Robinson

Kathryn “Kathy” E. Robinson, 83, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021.  Born August 20, 1937, in Imboden, AR, the daughter of Joseph and Fannie (Smith) Propes.  Married Sidney Robinson.  They were married 57 years.  Employed by SPX Logistics.  Kathy loved reading books, gardening, feeding the squirrels, being outside and going out to breakfast with her special friend, Velma.  She enjoyed taking walks, watching the animals and birds in her back yard, vacationing in the U. P. and out west.  Survivors include her children, Lisa Robinson, Scott Robinson and Dana (Michael) Descamps; grandchildren, Jennifer Robinson, Nicholas Ackerman, Aubrey Ackerman and Bryce Descamps.  Predeceased by her parents; husband; and brother, Bob Propes.  Special thanks to St. Croix Hospice and the New Beginnings wing at Amberwood Care Center and the staff for their compassionate care.

Service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with walk through visitation from 10 a.m. to service time.  Social distancing and face coverings required.  Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
