Kathryn S. “Kathy” Risch, 71, of Loves Park, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Born September 6, 1952, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Willard D. and Doris K. (Wagner) Parker. She married Michael C. Risch, on December 19, 1970, in Rockford. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Kathy enjoyed sewing and drinking coffee. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Steven (Maureen) Risch, and Chad (Gwen) Risch; grandchildren, Austin (Ashley), Sydney, Logan, and Cullen Risch; great-grandchildren, Carson and Riley; brothers, Richard, Tom, Mike, and Tim (Donna) Parker; twin brother, Ken Parker; sisters, Diane Parker and Missy (Steve) Burrus. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and brothers, Donald, and Daniel Parker.
Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
