Katelyn Jane Thibodeau

Katelyn Thibodeau passed away suddenly August 18th, 2026 in Tucson, Arizona. Kate was born April 29th, 1995 in Rockford, Illinois to John and Diane Thibodeau. She was an exceptionally bright child that grew into an artistic, eclectic, and compassionate adult. She was insightful, empathetic and always seemed so resilient; she gave her best and expected the best from others even when not warranted. She was the warmth, the light and the color of her family’s world; which has been left forever diminished by her absence.

She is survived by her parents, John and Diane. Her older brother Jake and younger sibling Teddy. Her maternal grandparents, Paul and Beverly Fermanich. So many Aunts, Uncles and cousins on both sides of the family. She was preceded in death by her paternal Grandparents, Ronald and Flora Thibodeau and her paternal Uncle Alan. As well as her beloved mastiff, Reedus.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date TBD. A private family service has already taken place.
