Karen Hanson

Karen E. (Strom) Hanson, 53, of Rockford died at June 26, 2018. Born September 21, 1964, in Rockford, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Marcella (Seeling) Strom. Karen was a graduate of Guilford High School. She was employed at Sundstrand and later at the United States Postal Service for 13 years. She enjoyed spending time at her camper by the lake in Horicon, WI. Karen loved her trips to the dog park with her dogs. Survivors include her brother, Ken W. Strom; nephew, Troy (Jessica) Strom; great-nieces, Saavy and Lola Strom; great-nephew, Broxton Strom; fiancé, Brad Roeder; cousin, Kathi Robbins; many other cousins, aunts and uncles; best friends, Stephanie Heidenreich and Jake Ackerman; dogs, Amber, Rex and Sherman; cats, Spaz, Ragu and Jasper; and hamster, Gidget. Predeceased by her parents and numerous aunts and uncles.
