June M. Deets, 92, of Machesney Park, IL, was called home Sunday, February 23, 2025. Born June 12, 1932, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Edward and Lucille (Simons) Struven. She married George Welch; he predeceased her. She then married Ronald “Ron” Deets on May 6, 2000, in Rockford. Charter member of Windsor Baptist Church. Member of the Red Hat Society. June loved gardening, flowers, antiquing, and traveling. Survivors include her husband, Ron; daughters, Rachel (Paul) Jaspers of Greenville, SC, and Ruth (Nathan) Brick of North Port, FL; grandchildren, Eric Silver, Nichole (Michael) Windsor, II, Joy (Raj) Boddeda, Stephanie (Chris) Farrell, Elizabeth (Zachary) Eshbach, and Andrew Brick; great-grandchildren, Michael “Trey” Windsor, III, Alexi Farrell, Nicholas Windsor, Alana Farrell, Eliza Windsor, Hayden Eshbach, Hudson Eshbach, Priya Boddeda, Layla Boddeda, Desi Farrell, and Zander Farrell; sister, Florence (Bud) Bain; brothers, Robert (Joyce) Struven, and Paul Struven; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Koenig, and Regina “Tina” Peterson; and seven siblings.

Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Windsor Baptist Church, 1115 Windsor Road, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
