Judith “Judi” M. Fields

Judith “Judi” M. Fields, 75, of Rockford, IL, was welcomed into the loving arms of her savior on Friday, September 30, 2022. Judi was born July 28, 1947, in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Warren and Mary (Lawton) Anderson. She lived most of her life in Rockford, as well as spending about 20 years in the Milwaukee, WI, area. She married David Fields in 1974 and they welcomed three children, Amanda in 1975 and twin boys, Jim and Ted in 1977. She worked in many accounting and office manager positions before retiring in 2019 from Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. Judi was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she served in many ways over the years. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan as well. Her biggest joys in life though were her children and grandchildren, always loving and supporting them in any way she could. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jim (Katie) Fields of Shelton, NE; grandchildren, Cameron, Clayton, and Trenton Fields, Xavior, Malaki, and Milah Hutsell; brother, Doug Anderson; daughters-in-law, Amanda Hutsell and Jennie Sutton; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Anderson and Mary Larson; children, Amanda and Ted Fields; and brothers, Ronald and David Anderson.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 9 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
