Joseph "Joe" Taskey

Joseph “Joe” Lee Taskey, 59, of Loves Park died Thursday, June 25, 2020, in Rockford. Born May 25, 1961, in Rockford, the son of Fred L. and Mary Ann (McVety) Taskey. Employed by Abidon Leasing and owned and operated JTs Home Improvement. Formerly employed by JP Cullen. He enjoyed fishing on his boat during the summer and ice-fishing during the winters. Joe was an avid hunter. Survivors include his siblings, Shirley Thornton, Fred (Barb) Taskey, Tonya (Al) Palozzi and Mark Taskey; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and sisters, Georgetta Starns and Ramona Medearis.
