Joseph "Joe" Luter

Joseph “Joe” S. Luter, 72, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016, in his home. Born June 23, 1943, in Saint Louis, MO, the son of Max and Leah (Lingle) Luter. Married Janice M. Rudolph on April 4, 1964, in Rockford. Employed as a carpenter with UAW Local 592 for more than 40 years. Member of LLL Club and Blackhawk Athletic Club. Joe was Rockford City Bowling Champion in 1963. He loved golfing. Survivors include his wife, Janice; daughters, Lori Young and Vicki Wagner; granddaughter, Janna Wagner; mother, Leah Luter; brother, Edward (Jo) Luter; sister, Pamela (Tom) Thompson; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father.

Service at 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time.
