Jonathan W. Taylor, 67, of Rockford passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, in his home.  Born October 25, 1954, in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of Jack and Nellie (Dunaway) Taylor.  Married Christine Lutzow on June 1, 1985, in Rockford.  Employed as an off-road tire technician for 40 years.  He loved spending time with family, fishing, reading, boating, shooting, being outdoors and his big dogs.  Survivors include his wife, Christine; children, Jeremiah (Lienna) Kimmel, Curt (Angie) Taylor, Kristi Taylor, Jonathan (Jess) Taylor, and Zachary (Cari “Yo-Yo”) Taylor; grandchildren, Dakota, Cheyenne, Abby, Danny, Olivia, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Jayden, Aaden, Nathan, Landyn, Sydney, Linnox, Jack, and baby Kaylee on the way; sisters, Marilyn (Frank) Haughton and Terry (Ray) Richardson; many special nieces and nephews; best friend, Mike Sewick; and faithful canine companion, Ruby.  Predeceased by his parents; brother, Walter; and son, Timothy.

Service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from noon to service time.  Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
