John Steinbach, 73, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in his home. Born February 27, 1949, in Uttendorf, Austria, the son of John and Sue Steinbach. Veteran of the U.S. Airforce. Married Debbie on September 15, 1973, in Rockford, IL. Employed as a union sheet metal worker. John enjoyed fishing with his best friend Jerry. Survivors include his wife, Debbie; children, Brandon (Cynthia) and Dareth (Jeremiah); grandchildren, Marshall, Sophia, and Olivia; sisters, Kathy and Liz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and a brother, Karl.
At his request, there will be no services. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
