John "Jack" Henricks

John "Jack” Edward Henricks, 93, of Rockford, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. Born February 7, 1925, in Rockford, the son of Francis “Frank” and Mary “Matii” (Brennan) Henricks. Married Betty Loraine Roggensack in 1947. Jack worked at Charlie Ind Construction and retired from the Greater Rockford Airport in 1987. He enjoyed cars, fishing and had a big heart for animals, rescuing many, giving them a home. Survivors include his wife, Betty; son, Jack (Georgia) Henricks; daughter, Sherry (Steven) Jack; grandchildren, Gina Henricks, Timothy (Theresa) Key and Jack (Cathy) Henricks, III; great-grandchildren, Courtney and Justin Pirello, Tayden, Timmy and Taylor Key, Jaclyn and Austin Henricks; great-great-grandson, Landyn Pirrello. The family is grateful to Hospice of America for the end of life care.

Private service in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a memorial to be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
