John "Jack" Gough

John “Jack” Gough, 80, of Rockford, went to be with the Lord Jesus, Monday, November 21, 2016. Born March 4, 1936, in Rockford, the son of Joseph and Margaret (Lynch) Gough. Veteran of U.S. Marine Corps. John loved to watch his nephews, Jay and David Gough and the Gough grandsons Racing and Michael Bilderbach Racing. Survivors include brother, David (Jackie) Gough; sisters, Peggy Gough-Doyle, Suzanne (Garry) Gough-Barney and Clare (Gary) Gough-Aase; eleven nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. A very special thanks to the nurses and staff of Rock River Nursing and Rehabilitation. Predeceased by parents and nephew, Jay.

Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to time of service. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
