John Bevan

John Russell Bevan, 96 of Loves Park passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born January 16, 1920 in Lost Springs, Kansas, son of Homer and Margaret (Harbaugh) Bevan. Married Edith Aileen Bailey November 26, 1941. Retired from Harlem Schools. Survivors include his wife, Edith; children, Ronald (Barb) Bevan, Susan (John) Pruitt and Patricia (Randy) Wade; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; brother in law, Doyle (Frances) Bailey. Predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Memorial Service 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22 in Grace Lutheran Church, 343 Grand Ave., Loves Park. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd. Memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
