Jody Dunbar

Jody A. Dunbar, 61, of Machesney Park passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016. Born April 3, 1954, in Rockford, daughter of Robert and Doris (Keene) Ball. Employed by Woodward Governor Co. for over 25 years. Jody always lived her life her way. She was a wonderful person that was always willing to help others. A music lover who thoroughly enjoyed living in her home on the river. But mostly she loved her family and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include her sons, Chad Dunbar and Travis (Jennie) Dunbar; granddaughters, Danielle and Alexandra Dunbar; great-grandsons, Isaiah and Malakyii; significant other, Ron Crank; brothers, Michael “Mick” (Diane) Laharne and Steve (Melody) Laharne; sister-in-law, Diane (Patrick) Hamilton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents.

Memorial visitation 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2016, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
