Joanna "Jo" Smith

Joanna “Jo” D. Hall-Smith, 67, of Rockford has gone to be with God on Thursday, December 31, 2015. Born January 31, 1948, in Rockford, the daughter of Donald L. and Kathleen R. (Harrington) Bellars. Member of Rockford United GB Ministries, Belvidere Moose Chapter 1052 and YMCA. Joanna could spot a diamond in the rough as she was an avid antique collector of dishes, jewelry, Bakelite and furniture. Jo loved to travel, dance and read. Survivors include her daughter, Blake Hall; sister, Jacqueline Wahl; brother, Fred (Megan) Bellars; nieces, Michelle (Mark) and Katrina(Christian); nephew, Eric (Kristen); an aunt; an uncle; and several cousins. Predeceased by her parents; brother-in-law; several aunts; uncles; and cousins.
