Jimmie Triplett

Jimmie A. Triplett, 73, of Loves Park passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, in Rock River Health Care. Born Saturday, April 19, 1947, in Queen City, MO, the son of Lawrence and Emmogene (Brown) Triplett. Employed by Rockford Products for over 30 years. Jimmie was an avid Bears, Cubs and NASCAR fan. He was known as Uncle Jimmie to everyone and rarely missed watching his nephew’s softball games. Survivors include special nephew, Tom (Vicky) Pruitt; sisters, Marilyn Kohl and Jodi (Jake) Wittwer; brothers, Sam (Nancy) Triplett and Randy Triplett; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Jerry Sonnentag. Predeceased by his parents; sister, Marguerite; brothers, Keith, Dan, Gary, and Larry. Special thanks to the staff at Rock River Health Care for their compassionate care.

Private family burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., Loves Park.
