Jessica Hamilton

Jessica Ann Hamilton, 26, of Loves Park passed away peacefully Monday, October 10, 2016. Born March 27, 1990, in Tachikawa, Yokota Air Base, Japan, the daughter of Dirk and Shirley (Bernabe) Hamilton. She had an infectious smile. Jessica loved the outdoors, music, arts, crafts, the circus and movies. Survivors include her father, Dirk (Raquel) Hamilton; mother, Shirley Corley; brothers, Aaron Hamilton and Richard Hamilton, all of Georgia; paternal grandparents, Neil and Nancy Hamilton of Rockford; aunt, Christina (Steve) Martin; several cousins. Predeceased by her maternal grandparents. The family wishes to thank the staff at Walter Lawson Children’s Home, especially Jan and Kate and her teacher, Gail, for their loving care and support.

Memorial service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 2:30 p.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
