Jerry Moore, Sr.

Jerry T. Moore, Sr., 83, of Machesney Park passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Born March 13, 1934, in Trenton, TN, the son of James L. and Willie (Barns) Moore.  Married Marilyn M. Timbush on January 18, 1958, in Rockford.  Employed by Amerock Corporation for more than 25 years, retiring in 1998.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to country music.  Jerry loved spending time with family and friends.  Survivors include his sons, Randy (Penny Enos) Moore of Russellville, AK, and Jerry Moore, Jr., of Rockford; daughter, LuCinda Moore of Machesney Park; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Cross of Trenton, TN.  Predeceased by his parents; wife; son, Jerry Neil Moore; and brothers, Lewis Moore and George Freeman.

Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Inurnment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
