Jerry D. Eitel

Jerry D. Eitel, 92, of Loves Park, IL, went to be with the Lord, peacefully in his sleep on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born April 27, 1933, in Kirksville, MO, the son of Raymond and Marguerite (Paris) Eitel. Jerry married Laura B. Bragg on April 12, 1959, in Kirksville, MO. He served honorably in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. Jerry worked most of his life as a machinist (lathe operator) and later drove a truck delivering for Napa Auto Parts. He was a member of Northeast Christian Church. Jerry loved spending time with family and enjoyed leather and woodworking. Survivors include his son, James (Tania) Eitel; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; wife, Laura Eitel; daughter, Debbie Tufty; one sister; and one brother.
