Jenny Margaret Pearson, 78, of Beloit, Wis., passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Willowick Moments, Clinton, Wis. Jenny was born July 23, 1942, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of George and Elsie (Stevens) Chilson. She graduated from Janesville Parker High School, Class of 1969. She married Wayne Podrasky on December 19, 1959, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dubuque, Iowa, moving to Janesville where she and Wayne raised their family. Jenny was employed by Parker Pen Company in Janesville for more than 30 years, retiring in 2009. Jenny loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She was a member of The Friends of Riverside Park in Janesville, Wis., where she was active, working on the Ice Age Trail. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, yoga with her girlfriends and country dancing. She was also an avid Wisconsin Badger fan and enjoyed going to several football games with friends and family. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela (Thomas) Fenton of Janesville, Wis.; her son, Richard “Ricco” (Rosalinda Barron) Podrasky of Beloit, Wis.; grandchildren, Jace (Cassie) Fenton of Wauwatosa, Wis., Kyleigh White of Janesville and Alec Podrasky of Costa Mesa, Calif.; great-granddaughter, Brooklynn White; brothers, Douglas Chilson, Phillip (Donna) Chilson, and Terry Chilson; sisters, Alice Przybylski and Edna (Tony) Tilley; brother-in-law, Gordon (Shirley) Podrasky; sister-in-law, Ruth (Clifford) Plemon; numerous nieces and nephews. Jenny was predeceased by her parents, George and Elsie Chilson; husband, Wayne Podrasky; son, Greg Pearson; brothers, Ronald Chilson and David Chilson; sister, Doris Martin; brother-in-law, Edward Przybylski; several nieces and nephews; and loving companion, John Powers. The family wishes to thank the staff from Oak Park Place in Janesville and Willowick Moments in Clinton for their loving care and compassion.
Family and friends are welcome to join a graveside service being held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020, in Oak Hill Cemetery, 1725 North Washington Street, Janesville, Wis.
