Jeffrey Mounts

Jeffrey S. “Pyro Jeff” Mounts, 56, of Rockton passed away Monday, January 9, 2017, in his home, surrounded by family. Born June 30, 1960, in Spring Valley, the son of Frank and Olive (Donoho) Mounts.  Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1978.  Married Kareen Guarino.  Employed by Carpenters Local 792 for 25 years and owned and operated Fire in Motion Pyrotechnics.  Avid Chicago Bears fan.  Survivors include wife, Kareen; children, Stephanie (Michael) Piller, Steve (Susi) Mounts, Stephanie Viojan and Kirsti Viojan; grandchildren, Owen, Mason, Landry and Maddex; mother, Olive Craig; brother, Jerry (Lois) Mounts; sister, Shirley (Bill) Jones; many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his father; brothers, Thomas and Luther; and sister, Frances Francis.

Service at 6 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 4:30 p.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
