Jeffery Paul Alleman, 58, of Rockford passed away peacefully Saturday, September 11, 2021, after a short illness, surrounded by people who loved and cherished him. Jeff was born June 5, 1963, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, the son of Paul and Sally (Edwards) Alleman. Jeff grew up in a military family and followed his dad’s footsteps. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was proud of his service and often spoke of his military adventures. He enjoyed seeing USO shows when deployed, Bob Hope, in particular, and his trip to Jerusalem for Christmas. He married Trisha LeAnn Runge on May 3, 2008, in Goldsboro. Jeff loved to travel, go hiking, and nature. His favorite trips were traveling to Northern Wisconsin to a placed called Hunky Dory, LeClair, Iowa, with his father and brother-in-law to see the American Pickers Antique Archaeology, traveling to Niagara Falls, Boston, Colorado, Beaufort, North Carolina, and the Caribbean Cruise he and Trisha took with his mom and dad. Jeff grew up being a big part of the Boys and Girls Club. He donated just shy of three gallons to the Red Cross. He was involved with Cat Rescue and TNR. He was very patriotic, supporting our troops, law enforcement and fire fighters. Jeff had a very goofy sense of humor, loved Necco wafers, jellybeans, and root beer barrels. He adored his rescue kitty “Wubba”. Jeff was a huge sci fi fan, and he loved watching JTV with his mother-in-law, Carol, especially when moissanite was on. Jeff loved estate sales, auctions and doing antique things with his father-in-law, Jerry. He was an amazing father to Zach. They were two peas in a pod. Jeff loved his family and all his friends, and you knew it. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for anyone. He was the best computer fixer upper and was an expert with IT Computer stuff. Jeff was loved by all; he had a beautiful smile that lit up a room and he was filled with Southern Hospitality. Every year since 2015, Jeff raised money and walked for Team Walk for cancer care in Lowell Massachusetts in honor of his brother-in-law. Douglas. Survivors include his best friend, soul mate, partner, true love, confidant, and loving wife, Trisha, who will forever and always remember Jeff; son, Zach; his beloved mother, Sally, who he truly loved and always carried in his heart; his sister, best friend and side kick, Nikki Alleman; two brothers; sister-in-law, Tracey, they had a brother sister bond, he cherished all the razzing, goofing, laughing, the Minute to Win It game night fun and of course eating, going to Taco John’s every Sunday to bring her a breakfast burrito and tots; Jeff loved being an uncle and is survived by Will, Joe, Josh, Tanya, Erik, and Caitlyn; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his kitty, Freddi K. Predeceased by his father, Paul, on December 30, 2020.
