Jean Thomas

Jean K. Thomas, 73, of Machesney Park passed away Monday, May 14, 2018, in her home. Born October 14, 1944, in Chatsworth, the daughter of Emil and Jessie (Roetzel) Herold. Married Ronald E. Thomas on March 11, 1997, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Formerly employed as store manager by Kelly Williamson at the Orlando Street location and formerly employed by Rosati’s Restaurant. Lifetime member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Ronald; daughter, Elizabeth (Steven) Nethery; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Zachary, Joseph Nethery, David (Stephanie) Nethery and Jack (Theresa) Nethery; great-grandchildren, Parker, Tyler and Alex Zachary, Lucy, Mary, Connor and Brady Nethery; stepdaughter, Lori (Robert) Boardwell; brother, Armand (Dorlyn) Ditman, Sr.; nieces, Lori Catalani and Cyndie Seckinger; nephews, Armand Ditman, Jr., and Douglas Ditman. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Roger Herold.

Service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
