Jason A. Parsons, 48, of Loves Park died Saturday, September 22, 2018. Born July 16, 1970, in Rockford, the son of Jerrold and Ann (Wirfs) Parsons. Employed by Arco. He enjoyed cooking out, bird watching, baseball, golf, collecting sports cards and memorabilia. Survivors include his son, Joseph Parsons; parents, Jerrold and Ann Parsons; brother, Jarett (Michele) Parsons; uncle, John (Judy) Parsons; and cousins, Rhonda Parsons, Roxanne Parsons and Ryan Parsons.

Service at 2 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 1 p.m. to service time. Burial in Argyle Scottish Cemetery.
