Janice Semenchuk

Janice E. (Burch) Semenchuk, 83, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Born September 10, 1935, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Jesse and Helen (Johnson) Burch. Married Alex Semenchuk on July 13, 1968. Employed in food service at House of Donuts, Macktown Golf Course and Fairview Lanes. She loved the Cubs, Bears, playing her favorite dice game at family gatherings and most of all she loved her grandchildren very dearly. Survivors include her son, Alan (Julie) Semenchuk; grandchildren, Tyler (Kaitlyn) Semenchuk and Hailey Semenchuk; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Aubree and Colt on the way; extended family, Sharon (Jerry) Heberlein; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and sisters, Alice and Florence. Special thanks to her caregiver, Devin; Diana, Sue and the Mercy Health on Rockton D3 nursing staff.

Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 9 a.m. to service time. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
