Jane A. Navickis, 88, of Loves Park passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Born January 23, 1929, in Dodgeville, WI, the daughter of Elmore E. and Rose Mary (Paradis) Godfrey. Married Albert Navickis on May 7, 1949, in Lodi, WI. Loves Park resident since 1950. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Jane was parade marshal for more than 10 years and was chosen as Mrs. Loves Park. She loved animals, having numerous dogs over the years. Jane enjoyed cooking, flowers, lawn work and going to the casino. Jane was known for her amazing holiday decorations, especially at Christmas. Most of all, she loved her family. Survivors include her daughters, Marsha (Tom) Nyberg, Lisa (Colin) Bystrom and Kathleen (Larry) Harvey; sons, Michael (Pamela) Navickis, Curtis (Cheryle) Navickis and George (Marie) Navickis; daughter-in-law, Diane Navickis; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister-in-law, Emma Godfrey; numerous nieces and nephews; and longtime best friend, Sharon Robinson. Predeceased by her parents; husband; son, Albert; 1 sister; and 3 brothers. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mercy Health and Crimson Pointe for their loving care.
Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 20, in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 19, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Monday in the church.
