James Lawrence Manley

James Lawrence Manley, 76, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born on Wednesday, April 27, 1949, in Rockford, the son of Wallace Wilbur and Martha (Golder) Manley. Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He married Michelle Gravino, on May 28, 1986, in Rockford. Employed by the Rockford Public Schools. He was an avid Rockford Ice Hoggs fan, attending many home games. Survivors include his wife, Michelle; daughter, Karey; brother, David (Brenda) Manely; brother-in-law, Mark (Laura) Gravino; sisters-in-law, Marianne Hilligas, Teresa Ehrlich, Carol Zanaiecki, and Lia Strahan. Predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Dennis and Byron Manley.
