James "Jimmy" Kleck

James “Jimmy” E. Kleck, 63, of Loves Park passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, in his home. Born September 28, 1954, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, the son of Edward J. Kleck and Carrie B. Phillips. Jimmy and his dad were lifelong friends, sharing a home for more than 40 years. Together, they enjoyed gun tournaments, playing pool, and fishing. Jimmy, a kid at heart, loved his model train and 45 rpm record collections. Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1973. Jimmy was a proud member of the Ancient Free & Accepted Masons Rockford Lodge #0102 for 37 years, International Shrine Clown Association, Loves Park and Tebala Shriners and showed his pride with TEBALA 3 license plates. A cat lover, Missy was his last loving fur friend. Survivors include his sister, Gayle D. Kleck of DeKalb, IL; and brother, Clarence V. Byrd of Corning, AR. Predeceased by his parents.
