James "Jim" Hubler

December 3, 1949 — September 25, 2021

James “Jim” Scott Hubler, 71, of Roscoe passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.  Born December 3, 1949, in Rockford, the son of Lawrence and Laura Mae (Benjamin) Hubler.  Veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving in the U.S. Army.  Formerly owned and operated his own construction company and then worked in machine shops for many years.  Member of the Muskie Hunters fishing club.  Jim was an avid fisherman competing in fishing competitions.  He loved the outdoors, hunting, and camping.  Jim was a history buff and loved Western movies.  Survivors include his nephew, Tim (Krista) Huber; and niece, Trisha (Scott) Edwards.  Predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Doug Hubler and Charles Hubler.

Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time.  Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
