James R. Hall, 76, formerly of Loves Park, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017, in SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born June 28, 1941, in Evarts, KY, the son of Lewis and Dortha (Hembree) Hall. Veteran of the U.S. Army, proudly serving in the Honor Guard. Married Eleanor A. Novak. Retired from Warner Lambert (Mondelez). Member of the Optimist Club. Former Little League Baseball Coach. James was a builder of the Wentland and Pony Park. Avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packer fan. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; sons, Steave (Sandra) Hall, Rick (Patricia) Hall and Michael (Marcy) Hall; grandchildren, Adrien Hall, Zachary (Ashley) Hall, Hannah Hall, Leah Hall, Bobby (Allie) Louis, Sarah Louis and Jerry (Megan) Grosstick; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby (Dee) Hall, Leroy Hall and Frank (Pat) Hall; sisters, Mary Skidmore, Jan Mason and Debbie Dill; sister-in-law, Mary Lue Hall; many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and best friends, Don Mitchell and Dennis Johnson. Predeceased by his parents; brother, Lewis Hall; sisters, Cherryl Johnson, Billie Allen and Phyllis “Sue” Mitchell.
Service at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from noon to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Noah’s Ark.
