Iris "Paulie" Briski

Iris “Paulie” E. Briski, 87, of Machesney Park passed away peacefully Sunday, June 25, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born January 7, 1930, in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Fred and Elaine (Armstrong) Burke.  Married Michael Briski on December 17, 1955, in Duluth, MN.  Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church.  Survivors include her children, Michael (Felicia) Briski of Cincinnati, OH, Susan Briski of Rockford and Fred (Kathy) Briski of Rockford; granddaughters, Meredith Briski, Melissa Briski, Jacqueline Briski, Jackie McElroy, Khristina (Robert) Watson and Kourtny Briski; great-grandchildren, Jayhden Watson and Rhylan Watson; numerous nieces and nephews; special niece, Jill (Mike) Oemichen.  Predeceased by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Samantha J. Briski; and sister, Jackie Kurtovich.

Memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
