Hildeberto Gama

Hildeberto Gama, 63, of Rockford died Tuesday, August 18, 2020, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born December 18, 1956, in Tejupilco, Mexico. Married Maria Sanchez in May 1978. Owned and operated New Esperanza Landscaping. Member of Arca De Salvation Church. He loved going to his daughter’s ranch and helping taking care of his chickens. Hildeberto enjoyed reading the Bible and talking about Jesus. He attended church three times a week and always had a smile. Survivors include his wife, Maria; children, Luis (Ofelia) Gama, Gilberto (Ligny Guilby) Gama, Elizabeth (Juan Valdez) Gama, Noemi (Jose Segura) and Judith Gama; 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his mother, Catalina (Vargas) Gama; and brother, Angel Gama.

Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2020, in Arlington Memorial Park, 6202 Charles Street, Rockford. Walk through visitation with face coverings required and social distancing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2020, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
