Helen D. Logan, 91, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Born April 16, 1931, in Louisiana, MO, the daughter of John and Callie (Davis) Smith. Married James “Jim” R. Logan on March 18, 1950. Helen enjoyed garage sales, antiquing, talking on the phone with friends and family and everything gold. Survivors include her son, Steven Logan; daughter-in-law, Nancy Logan; grandchildren, Chantel Friedrich, Jamie (Carmen) Logan, Andy (Jennifer) Logan, Rush Logan, Deric Lockhart, and Corey Lockhart; great-grandchildren, Montana, Christian, Kayla, Gavin, Raelynn, and Morgan; great-great-grandchildren, Jace and Paisleigh; sister, Peggy Clark; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; siblings, Mildred, Elizabeth, Bertha, Marie, Wanda, Johnnie, Betty, and Frank; daughter, Cheryl Logan; son, Clinton Logan; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Logan. A very special thank you to Nancy for all her loving care and support.
Private services will be held with burial to follow at Roscoe Township Cemetery. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
