Harry O. Robins
Harry O. Robins, 98, of Loves Park, IL, went to his eternal home Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Javon Bea Hospital. Born March 17, 1925, in Corning, AR, the son of Guy and Phoebe Robins. He married Jeraldine L. Cox on September 29, 1943, in Corning; she predeceased him. He then married Elwanda Stanphill on January 3, 1998; she predeceased him also. Employed as a superintendent at Gunite Foundries for almost 50 years. Member of Firstborn Ministries. Harry enjoyed playing guitar, singing, repairing watches and fishing. Survivors include his daughter, Harriette York; son, Keith Robins; daughter-in-law, Deborah Robins; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Carl (Josie) Robins. Harry was also predeceased by his parents; sons, Fred and Bruce Robins; and son-in-law, Rev. Ronald York.
Service at 5 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Firstborn Ministries, 8213 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL, with visitation from 3 p.m. to service time. Graveside service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Arlington Memorial Park, Rockford, IL. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
