Harriett Mccalmon

Harriet L. (Hennings) McCalmon, 93, of Rockford, died peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018. Born July 24, 1924.  Married to Robert McCalmon for 70 years, until his death on June 4, 2014, at the age of 94.  They were both active in the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard.  She worked as a secretary at Rock Valley College and tutored English.  Survivors include son, Bruce (Marsha) McCalmon; grandchildren, Lana McCalmon of Chicago, Christopher (Bonnie) McCalmon of Winnebago, and Michelle McCalmon of Rockford; one great-granddaughter, Amber McCalmon.  Predeceased by sons, Michael, Jerry, and Brian McCalmon.
