Grace Moore

ROSCOE - Grace R. Moore, 94, of Roscoe passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, in her home. Born Sept. 30, 1920, in Caledonia, daughter of Howard and Grace L. (Hilton) Rogers. Married Rev. John T. Moore on March 31, 1939, in Dubuque, Iowa. Member of Roscoe United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. Grace enjoyed crafts, sewing, playing piano and especially being a pastor’s wife. Survivors include sons, Thomas (Bonnie) Moore of Rockford, Richard (Judy) Moore of Rockton and Jeff (Susan) Moore of Roscoe; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband; sons, Dennis Moore and John Moore; two sisters; and five brothers.

Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, in Roscoe United Methodist Church, 10816 Main St., Roscoe, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Roscoe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Heart Association. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., Loves Park.
