Gordon C. “Corky” Boeke, 93, of Loves Park was reunited with his wife Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Born July 2, 1927, in Pecatonica, the son of Arnold and Viola (Rafferty) Boeke. Attended East High School. Married Mary V. Jones on July 1, 1944, in Manchester, Iowa. Employed by J.L. Clark for 25 years, retiring in 1990. Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Yorktown. Member of Grace Lutheran Church. Avid Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed bowling and watching sports. Survivors include his children, Jean (John) Kuelling, Larry Boeke, Evelyn (Dennis) Meyers, Marilyn (Tim) Nordmoe, Scott (Lori) Boeke and Dawn (Kelly) Robison; grandchildren, Thomas Kuelling, Paul Kuelling, Roberto (Michelle) Bento, Heather (Chris) Holte, Molly Meyers, Annie Meyers, Zoey Meyers, Mary Meyers, Nancy (Dave) Heldreth, Andy (Kari) Nordmoe, Ryan Boeke, Kameron Boeke, Drake Robison, Dalton Robison and Kennedy Robison; great-grandchildren, Jordan Kuelling, Hanna Kuelling, Vito Kuelling, Alaina Holte, Owen Holte, Ella Holte, Giavana Bento, Avery Salberg, Ayden Salberg, Landon Nordmoe, Lily Nordmoe, Jaxson Nordmoe, Nolyn Heldreth and Sylas Heldreth; great-great-grandson, Asher Salberg; sister-in-law, Gloria Epling; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Linda Maddock. Private family services will be held with livestream at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021, on Delehanty Funeral Home Facebook. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
