Gloria M. Swanson, 93, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, in her home. Born July 19, 1930, in Spring Valley, MN, the daughter of Harry F. and Myrtle M. (Larson) Swanson. Retired from Rockford Products. Member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved to travel. Survivors include niece, Wendy (Dick) Barton; nephew, Lyle Swanson; and caregiver, Gerri Thorpe. Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Vernal (Hildur “Irene”) Swanson, Rodney Swanson, and Richard (Florence) Swanson; niece, Barbara Hanson; nephew, Steve Swanson; and her loving dogs, Candi and CoCo.

Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
