Gloria Louise Meden, 94, of Durand passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, in SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born August 29, 1927, in Rockford, the daughter of Ashley and Victoria (Anderson) Hagaman. Married Elmer H. Meden on May 14, 1949, in Rockford. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, baking, painting, crafting, taking care of her home, birdwatching, spending time outdoors, fishing, and hiking. Gloria loved spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Marlo Buchmann, Gary (Cindy) Meden, and Kathy (John) Meiners; grandchildren, Marlyse (Justin) Waskiewicz, Melissa Buchmann, Kevin (Karen) Meneou, TJ (Lisa) Meneou, Daniel Meden, Kelsey Meden, Bradley Meiners, Robert (Rachel) Meiners, Kristina Meiners, and Angela Meiners; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Hauser; many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends. Predeceased by her parents; husband; twin son and daughter in infancy; siblings, Robert in infancy, Marjorie Fagerburg, Jean McGraw, Cynthia Johnson, and Lowell Hagaman.
Service at 1 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
