Glenn H. Ott, 86, of Loves Park passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Alpine Fireside Health Center. Born December 7, 1934, in Nelson, WI, the son of Harold and Gertrude (Stange) Ott. Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Married Marian C. Allbaugh on October 17, 1959. Retired from Amerock. After retirement, Glenn and Marian owned and operated G-M Distributors. Member of Providence Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Glenn enjoyed traveling, playing golf, reading about military history and watching classic movies featuring John Wayne. He loved antique and classic cars, as well as attending car shows with his wife. Glenn was also an active volunteer with the Rockford Literacy Council, a Boy Scout leader, and an elder at his church. Survivors include his wife, Marian; daughters, Melanie (Jeff) Tackeberry and Stephanie (Kevin) Albrechtson; grandchildren, Kelsey Tackeberry, Madeline Tackeberry, Kyle Tackeberry and Samuel Tackeberry; sisters, Phylis (John) Sanders and Joan Everett; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; daughter, Julie Leahy; and sister, Janice Wiechman.
