Gerald Hall

Gerald E. Hall, 86, of Rockford passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018, in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born April 5, 1931, in Rockford, the son of Earl D. and Dora Mae (Kingsbury) Hall.  Married Diane R. Steen on March 21, 1951, in Rockford.  Employed by National Lock for 37 years.  Gerald loved fishing, hunting and working on the farm with his nephew.  Survivors include daughters, Pam Hoglund, Vicky (David Sr.) Keckler and Denise (Michael) Lamberth; son, Curtis (Shelly) Hall; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; everal nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents; wife; brothers, Paul, David, Donald, Robert and Raymond Hall; and sister, Edna Clark.  The Hall family would like to thank the following for the past five years:  the dear friends we have made with the staff at Lincolnshire Place and River Bluff Nursing Home, from the administration to the nursing, the CNA’s, those in dietary, social services and everyone who kept the facilities safe and clean.  Our father always felt your love and concern.  We will be forever grateful.

Memorial visitation from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, February 17, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Private inurnment at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
