Georgeanne Bastian

Georgeanne Call Bastian, 73, of Rockford, IL, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, after a brief illness.  Georgeanne was born July 14, 1947, in Tacoma, WA, and followed her Air Force family to posts around the world.  A graduate of the University of Tulsa, Georgeanne loved reading, the arts and each of her dogs, all but one of them a rescue.  Survivors include her mother, Doris J. (née Darnell) Call (Fred) Koopman; sons, Jonathan (Julie) Bastian and Matthew (Kristen) Bastian; grandchildren, Marissa and Cameron; numerous nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Predeceased by her father, Col. George W. Call; brothers, William and Richard Call; and sister, Barbara Jo Call.

Memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wounded Warrior Project, ASPCA or any animal shelter dog rescue.
