Genna Lou Brazel

Genna Lou Brazel, 78, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. She was born on Thursday, June 17, 1948, in Nimmons, AR, the daughter of Virgil and Dorothy (Gattis) Owens. She married Billie W. Brazel on December 31, 1965, in Nimmons, AR. She enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino. Genna was a dedicated wife, mother, and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Billie Brazel; sons, Wayne (Tracy) Brazel and Vergil Brazel; grandchildren, Zachary Brazel, Zoe (Hunter) Milgrim, Mariah (Cory) Brazel; great-grandson, Lex Brazel; sister, Betty (Tommy) Redmond. Predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Larry Owens and Mickey (Betty) Owens.
