Gale Meredith

Gale A. Meredith, 64, of Rockford passed away Monday, January 1, 2018. Born January 27, 1953, in Rockford, the daughter of George and Frances (Harvey) Lister.  Graduated from Boylan High School, Class of 1971.  Employed by the State of Illinois for 38 years, retiring in 2016.  Survivors include her father, George Lister of Hines, MN; brother, Glenn (Susan) Lister of Metamora; nieces, Jennifer Lister of Fortville, IN, and Aimee (Mark) Comte of Reno, NV; nephew, Derrick Lister of Odessa, TX; great-nieces, Isabel and Lane Comte, both of Reno.  Predeceased by her mother; husband, Michael; and brother, Gary Lister.  Family wishes to thank Connie, Pam and Carol for their love and support, the staff at OSF Hospice and Presence St. Anne.

Memorial visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, January 5, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
